As soon as Christmas Day is over it seems the attention turns towards what to do on New Years Eve in Southampton. From Turkish feasts to traditional British pubs with band nights, here’s the Southampton Times Top Five places to go on New Years Eve for your year-end celebrations.

Ottoman Kitchen continues its tradition of hosting what many consider Southampton’s premier New Year’s celebration. The High Street favorite welcomes guests with prosecco on arrival, followed by an award-worthy four-course menu. Dancing Man Brewery: Traditional Pub Charm

The historic Dancing Man Brewery is taking a refreshingly casual approach to New Year’s Eve. Opening from noon until 2 AM, the celebrated brewhouse is offering a relaxed alternative to ticketed events. Housed in a Grade I listed medieval Wool House, the venue promises a “good old fashioned night” with their signature craft beers and welcoming atmosphere.

HarBAR at Southampton Harbour Hotel: Waterfront Sophistication

The sophisticated HarBAR, with its stunning harbor views and contemporary setting, presents an elegant option for New Year’s celebrations. The venue’s prime location at the Southampton Harbour Hotel makes it an ideal spot to watch the city’s fireworks while enjoying premium cocktails and maritime glamour.

HarBar will be partying until the small hours up on the rooftop, With a bird’s eye view of the city’s fireworks, champagne and cocktails flowing and Southampton’s top DJs playing all night, we created the recipe for a New Year’s Eve party. Tickets are £125 for a four-course dinner of £30 for Drink & Dance only ticket..

The Platform Tavern: Musical Favourite

The Platform Tavern, a cornerstone of Southampton’s live music scene, brings its signature blend of traditional pub atmosphere and quality entertainment to New Year’s Eve.
