Newcastle vs Fulham: Newcastle to win and over 1.5 goals @ 2.06
Newcastle are one of the in-form teams in the Premier League who are scoring goals for fun. Since Tonali has come into the side they look to have found another dimension.
But Fulham’s recent away form has also been good and victory in the reverse fixture against Newcastle will provide them with confidence ahead of Saturday’s trip to St James’ Park to score. We still see the Magpies as winners here.
Eddie Howe is also good at fixing any problems, after suffering a loss to Bournemouth a fortnight ago. Expect goals from Isak and more dynamism from Tonali to power a Newcastle win by a couple or few goals.
Ipswich vs Southampton: Over 1.5 goals @ 1.31
Two teams come together that struggle to keep a clean sheet and both desperately need three points to give them any hopes of Premier League survival. The recent results have not been good for Saints, but there’s been improved signs of life under new Southampton manager Juric. Improved attacking prowess could mean Saints can take advantage of Ipswich’s recent defensive vulnerabilities (being thumped 6-nil by Manchester City and 4-1 by Liverpool) to take all three points here. We’ll play it safe and go with over 2 goals.
A ten pound bet should return £26 in a double.
