Police in Southampton are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man and woman they’d like to speak with following a reported shoplifting at Smyths Toys on Tollbar Way, Hedge End.
The incident took place between 4.40pm and 4.55pm on Wednesday, 18 June. Officers say a pushchair, valued at £300, was stolen from the store.
Investigators have released a description of the woman they’d like to speak to in connection with the theft. She is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, and approximately 40 years old. She was reportedly travelling in a gold Volvo.
Police believe both the man and woman pictured in CCTV images may have information that could assist their investigation. They are urging the pair—or anyone who recognises them—to come forward.
Officers are also asking anyone who witnessed the incident, noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or may have relevant CCTV, mobile phone, or dash cam footage to get in touch.
