Traditionally, end-of-life car batteries would be sent off to external recyclers, ultimately destined for landfill after their materials were extracted. Silverlake’s investment in cutting-edge American technology now allows the company to rigorously test, repurpose, and guarantee the performance of these batteries, transforming them into affordable, reliable options for local drivers.
The initiative, which includes a popular trade-in scheme letting customers exchange their old batteries to offset the cost of a recycled unit, has already seen strong public uptake. All repurposed batteries come with a 12-month warranty, ensuring peace of mind as well as savings.
