Southampton police are appealing for information following an assault on a bus driver that occurred earlier this month. Authorities are keen to speak with two men in connection to the incident, which took place on Saturday, October 5, between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
The reported assault happened as two men were leaving a Bluestar bus on Portswood Road. During the confrontation, the bus driver was assaulted, and his sunglasses were stolen. Fortunately, the driver, a man in his 40s, did not sustain any injuries.
In an effort to progress their investigations, police have released an image of the two men they wish to identify. The first individual is described as being between 45 to 60 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, and of stocky build. He is bald and was last seen wearing a grey jumper. The second man is reported to be between 30 to 40 years old, around 6 feet tall, with a slim build. He has short brown hair and was wearing a brown bomber jacket and blue jeans.
