Police are appealing for information following a reported shoplifting incident at The Liquor Store on Commercial Road, Totton.
The incident took place between 8.13pm and 8.20pm on Saturday, 9 August. Officers say an unknown man entered the shop and attempted to steal items. When challenged by a staff member, the man allegedly made threats before fleeing the scene.
Images of a man police wish to speak to have been released. Officers believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries and are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We are keen to speak to the man pictured as he may have vital information that could help our investigation. We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time, or has CCTV, mobile phone, or dash cam footage that might assist our enquiries.”
