Hampshire Police have charged a 55-year-old man in connection with the supply of Class A drugs in Southampton, following a proactive operation in the Portswood area.
On Friday evening, 15th November, at approximately 7pm, officers conducting routine patrols observed suspicious activity on Lawn Road, suggestive of drug-related dealings. Acting swiftly, the officers detained and searched a man under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
During the search, officers discovered a quantity of suspected Class A drugs, leading to the man’s arrest. A subsequent search of a property linked to the individual unearthed a significant stash of Class A substances and drug paraphernalia, all of which were confiscated by the authorities.
