ampshire Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man captured in a photograph, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a serious incident of trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence. The incident occurred at an address on Park Road, Southampton, between 1.53 am and 4.10 am on Saturday, 19 October.
The victim was abruptly awoken to find an unknown man in her room. Disturbingly, the intruder had removed his shoes and was in the process of taking off his trousers. The man fled the scene when the victim bravely threatened to call the police. Thankfully, the victim was not harmed during the incident.
Authorities are keen to speak with the man described as follows:
- White male
- Aged between 25 and 35 years
- Approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall
- Of average build
- Blonde hair with a large blonde beard
- Last seen wearing a grey North Face long-sleeved jumper
- The man was not wearing shoes when he left the building
The police believe the man pictured can provide crucial information to aid their investigation. They urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.
Additionally, any witnesses, or those who noticed suspicious activity in the area at the time, are encouraged to report any information. This includes CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam, or doorbell camera footage that could assist the investigation.
